Leelium’s helium-filled light tubes, built by Cameron Fabric Engineering, are particularly useful on location filming as no scaffolding is required to place the lights in the correct position and a diffused quality of light is provided. Films using the light tubes have included Harry Potter.
Leelium has been awarded a Technical Oscar for “Contributions and achievements in the development of lighting techniques for motion pictures”; it was presented in Hollywood by Kate Hudson.
